What Kind Of PLR Content Should You Buy?

October 15th, 2007 · 13 Comments ·

Private label rights, or PLR products are becoming more and more popular online… simply because it’s a great way for you to have an instant product to sell to your market for pure profit.

PLR products are products that are written or created by someone else, which you can buy and put your name on as if it’s your own. Basically, it’s a product that you can buy with the same rights for its use as if you had made it yourself. PLR comes in many different forms such as articles, reports, graphics, videos, audio, software, and even ebooks.

So, what kind of PLR products should you buy? That really depends on the market that you’re going after, what their needs are and how you want to use the products.

If your market needs products that explain to them how to do certain things in a step-by-step manner, then they may need videos, articles, ebooks or reports that explain in detail how to solve their particular problem. If your market is after solutions to everyday problems they face with technology, then they may need software that helps them with the problem. If your market likes to listen to interviews or discussions, then you should consider purchasing audio PLR and offering it to them.

The most common types of PLR available are articles, reports and ebooks. There are some places online that do offer PLR audio, video, and software, but most sites or membership that offer PLR products stick to text-based products because they’re the most versatile.

The great thing about PLR products is that you can edit or change them as you like. If you want to supply your market with a report or an ebook but don’t want to write it yourself, then you can buy some PLR articles, combine and edit them into a short report or an ebook for your market. You can then sell it to them or give it away with your affiliate links embedded throughout the report or the ebook.

If you want to do some article marketing and don’t want to write the articles yourself, then by some PLR reports or PLR ebooks and break them down into short 300 - 500 word articles that you can use to market in article directories. Its ready-made content that you just have to break down into bite size chunks and use for any purpose you choose. It is quick and easy to get a lot of articles from a PLR report or ebook.

PLR videos or audio content can make great bonus gifts or be used for backend sales by offering PLR reports or ebooks related to the topic and irresistible to your customer. You can even give them away to build a list of customers to market to.

If you’re unsure of what the best type of PLR product is to start with, go with PLR articles. They’re the most basic form of content and offer the most possibly and options. They can be used as blog or website content, as part of a newsletter or ezine, be combined into a report or ebook, recorded into audio or video or used / sold as is in article form.

Hey Ryan, it could be a PLR article and no one would ever know… but in this case it’s not.

    Maybe next time :)

Good info - I love PLR content. It is much easier to rewrite some decent PLR than to do all the research and write original content…it is a huge time-saver!

I’d prefer reading in my native language, because my knowledge of your languange is no so well. But it was interesting! Look for some my links:

Does anyone have some good sources from Private Label Rights software? I’ve purchased a few good items from www.hotresale.com but would like to see if you could offer any other sources. I know ebay is good, but these are usually not very up-to-date.

I really enjoyPLR content and most of the time rewrite those ones in my own words and then republish it in article diretories. Its my hobbies but not for any commercial purpose.

The basic factor here is to see whether we are adhering to the terms that we are following for the same. Please keep posting such concepts even in future. It hepls readers like us.

PLR content makes it easy to make your own unique product. the research is already done for you, so all you need to do is rewrite for a unique product with your own flavor…

Really good content can be derived from well written PLR. However, in order to get the maximum value from the content you have to rewrite it into your own words.

In my opinion the best way to rewrite the content is to read it two - four times or until you have a pretty good grasp of the content. Leave it alone for an hour or so and then put it into your own words.

Good PLR is somewhat difficult to find, However, good PLR sites or out there like www.nakedcontent.net and www.1articleaday.com.

I am a big fan of private label rights products, however I never use plr content “as is”. Instead I will use it as a guideline only and re-write it so I end up with original material. I recommend you do the same so you don’t receive duplicate content penalties from google.

Being that I am not a graphic designer I like the fact that most products with resale rights also include graphics.

Information products are a excellent way to make money online. I recently managed to get 7 different types of software with resale rights for free. They are all excellent programs, and I have been using a couple of them daily since I got them.

This bring me the problem with plr products. The market can quickly become saturated, making a product worthless. To overcome this smart internet marketers require that you do not sell a product for less than the specifed price.

no sense in selling yourself for pennies now is there?
